The Business Development Associate role at Expoint is an ideal position for those interested in taking an active part in the tech industry. This position is integral to helping organizations and startups accelerate their businesses and take advantage of opportunities that come their way. The main responsibility of the Business Development Associate will be to build relationships and direct the development of innovative partnerships and business opportunities. In this position, you'd be expected to systematically source, nurture, manage and close deals with the appropriate parties. You’ll need to have both an understanding of technical concepts and business strategy, since you will be playing a core role in helping identify and generating opportunities. The Business Development Associate role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as having a keen eye for identifying emerging technologies that have transformative potential and present viable businesses. Your ability to anticipate industry trends and emerging markets will be essential in predicting opportunities and relationships that will have leverage in the tech industry. In this role you’d need to assess and evaluate opportunities quickly, be able to work in a fast-paced and continually shifting environment, and manage expectations from all parties.
